In honor of the holiday, we're sharing some of our favorite desk stretches for your workday.
Wrist and Finger Stretches
Let's start with the obvious culprit! Your wrists and fingers get incredibly tight sitting at your desk and typing (or writing) all day. Rotate your wrists, press your hands in Prayer Pose, or tie your hands in an Eagle Pose while seated to promote blood flow.
Back & Shoulders Stretches
Stress and sitting put a lot of tension in your shoulders. Arch and hollow your back in a similar motion to Cat and Cow poses and feel those shoulders and back begin to loosen.
Neck Stretches
Now it's time to bring some movement into your neck. Gently place your hand on your head and tilt your neck side to side. Rotate your head from one side, to the other, and look up and down.
